Maria Vacratsis

Maria Vacratsis started her professional acting career the year Saturday Night Fever was released and the Habs were still Cup contenders. She spent the 80's and 90's playing maids and housekeepers of every ethnicity on various made for television movies and films. Her comedy skills had her cast in a lot of comic roles including the cult classic, Tommy Boy with Chris Farley, which still gets her a good table at the Keg. Mostly she toiled very happily, if not somewhat obscurely, in Canadian theatre and hopes to die at a very ripe old age while on stage performing in the Gin Game at the Drayton Festival.
