Set in a small apartment above a vet clinic in Vancouver's Mount Pleasant area, a group of broke young artists gather for a pregame before a Death Cab for Cutie concert, only to find their relationships fracturing under a weight of hidden truths. At the center are Lauren and Cameron, a couple suffocating under financial strain, unspoken resentments, and a sudden, shattering family tragedy they are desperate to hide.
