Theatre This Week: January 6 – 12

The Solitudes

January 7 - 18

Eight women journey towards home and reminisce on the history and bloodlines that brought each of them to this land. This is a protest. This is an act of claiming space. This is a call to action: because only a house can be invaded, but home can never be taken away.

At the Harbourfront Centre Theatre until January 18. For tickets and more information, click here.

Julius Caesar

January 7 - February 2

In the most powerful state on earth, a coalition of educated elites, alarmed at their leader’s populist, authoritarian reforms, conspire to bring him down. After his assassination, a civil war erupts, as ghosts, revolutionaries, and politicians contend with what they’ve done, and what’s to come.

Sexual Misconducts of the Middle Classes

January 8 - February 2

An author and star professor, wracked with self-loathing after a third divorce, catches himself admiring a student – a girl in a red coat. Turns out the girl is a huge fan of his work. She also lives just down the street and gets locked out one afternoon…
