Farmer John Proctor has been conducting an illicit relationship with a young woman in his employ, in a Puritan town of Salem, Massachusetts. His denial and refusal to take responsibility for his actions spurs on an epidemic of fear and suspicion among the residents of the town – guilty and innocent alike.

Wahida, an Arab-American woman, and Eitan, a Jewish geneticist, fall in love in New York City. Both travel to Israel to meet Eitan’s estranged grandmother – who turns out to be the key to a long-lost family secret. The only problem is it takes a terroist bombing for the shocking secret to emerge.
