I Swallowed a Moon Made of Iron

Powerful, haunting and gut-wrenching. The world premiere of this song cycle by composer Njo Kong Kie of Mr. Shi and His Lover and Picnic in the Cemetery pays tribute to the life of Xu Lizhi and countless others whose unseen struggles provide the amenities of our digital lives.

An urgently contemporary adaptation of the classic Greek story, inspired by the 2014 student umbrella protest in Hong Kong and the 1989 uprising in Tiananmen Square. Antigone faces high stakes as she stands up for her brother against her father’s will.

Prophecy Fog

May 14 - 26

Prophecy Fog begins with a journey into the Mojave Desert in search of Giant Rock. We encounter a girl in the mountains of British Columbia with a pocket full of stones, the rainbow warrior’s prophecy, and a mystery inscription that obscures our past.
