The Riverboat Coffee House opened in 1964 in the basement of a Victorian row house and was the jumping-off point for many Canadian singer-songwriters. Soulpepper’s sold-out concert returns with Mike Ross directing a celebration of the stories and songs that made Yorkville the place to be in the free-loving sixties.

November 8 - 9

Bangarra Dance Theatre is the internationally renowned Australian company that is bringing 65,000 years of Aboriginal and Torres Island culture with exhilarating contemporary movement. A performance that weaves together storytelling, dance, theatre and music, this incredible theatrical experience transports the audience to a mysterious and sacred space to witness nature’s poetry.

Besbouss: Autopsy of a Revolt

November 7 - 20

A fictional account written by Stéphane Brulotte gives Karim, a forensic pathologist, the task of performing an autopsy on his body…the request ignites protests throughout Tunisia and beyond. The doctor must reconcile his own safety, the future of his country, and the dignity of a young man that sparked the Arab Spring.
