Kiinalik: These Sharp Tools

October 24 - November 5

Queer theatre-maker Evalyn Parry and Inuk artist Laakkuluk Williamson Bathory share the stage after a chance meeting to give voice and body to the histories, culture, and climate we’ve inherited, and to ask how we reckon with these sharp tools. Our reviewer Lynn Slotkin called it “bracing, beautiful, thought-provoking, unsettling, challenging.”

At Buddies in Bad Times until November 5. For tickets or more information, click here.

Lo (or Dear Mr. Wells)

October 25 - November 11

As part of Nightwood Theatre’s Consent Event, Lo (or Dear Mr. Wells) is a feminist take on a student/teacher relationship, wrestling with burgeoning sexuality and consent, literature and passion, right and wrong.

At Crow’s Theatre until November 11. For tickets or more information, click here.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time

October 10 - November 19

According to our review Lynn Slotkin, director Marianne Elliott brings a “strong vision, particular style, and incredible attention to the smallest details” to the story in an “illuminating” production.”
