Beautiful Scars, adapted by Wilson and co-creator Shaun Smyth from Wilson’s 2017 memoir of the same name, tells the story of Wilson’s journey from a lonely childhood on the East Hamilton Mountain to a celebrated career as a multidisciplinary artist and three-time Juno-award-winning musician.
