Today, the Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts (TAPA) announced the nominees for the 2020 Dora Mavor Moore Awards via a pre-taped streamed announcement on the Dora Awards YouTube Channel. More than 200 nominees were announced in the awards’ 7 divisions.

This year’s Dora Awards is being dubbed the “Virtual Edition” as TAPA prepares for an online pre-taped awards ceremony to be presented via the Dora Awards YouTube Channel and TAPA social media accounts June 29 at 7:30 PM.

Despite COVID-19 forcing a shortened season for Toronto’s performing arts industry, TAPA reports that 85% of all productions registered for the Dora Awards successfully produced during 2019-2020, with 160 eligible productions.

For more information on the 2020 Dora Awards – Virtual Edition visit the TAPA website.
