Intermission is expanding, and we’re so happy to announce that Dalbir Singh is joining the team as associate editor.

Dalbir, who completed his bachelor’s and master’s degrees at the University of Guelph, is currently a PhD candidate in Performance Studies at the University of Toronto. He’s the editor of five anthologies (mostly theatre related, from Playwrights Canada Press) and has published the work of artists such as Yvette Nolan, Donna-Michelle St. Bernard, Anusree Roy, and Guillermo Verdecchia. He has also taught theatre courses at the University of Toronto, University of Guelph, and the University of Waterloo.

In his spare time, he works in research coordination at St. Michael’s Hospital, reads copious amounts of post-colonial and intercultural theory, and adores cooking with his beloved instant pot.

Dalbir is very much looking forward to joining the team at Intermission and engaging with the current conversations being generated around Canadian theatre. And we are very much looking forward to having him.
