“I really wanted to tell the story of the people who are affected by their loved ones’ addictions. Because I don't think that that is a story that we see very often,” says the creator-performer ahead of the show’s premiere at the Factory Theatre Mainspace.
"From 2010 to the pandemic, [Aluna Theatre's] energy was totally devoted to creating a community of Latinx artists," says this year's Silver Ticket Award recipient. "Now they’ve grown up, and a lot of them are being produced by other companies. Creating that space has been a huge responsibility and I never take it lightly."

The festival showcases a lineup of interdisciplinary talent from across the Americas, with programming connected around the theme of “personal cartographies.”
