Theatre This Week: March 29 – April 4

Available until May 31

Loosely based on real events, Cloudless is a memory play designed for a chorus of voices at once separate and intertwined. Each of its five characters struggles to reckon with the same mysterious incident: the disappearance of two young women during a diving expedition off the coast of Oaxaca, Mexico, an incident that sent the lives of those connected to it in unexpected directions involving secrets, travel, sexual discovery, natural disasters, drugs, spiritualism and emigration.

Tuning In

April 2 - April 4

In partnership with the MAI, Tuning In is a commissioned series of three new, short audio plays penned by women playwrights from across Canada. Tuning In tackles issues of denial, fear and care. Three Canadian women playwrights explore the perspectives that reflect our personal realities and also the truths that bind us together. The series invites us to question the human experience and how society shapes us.

Forever Yours, Marie-Lou

March 28 - April 11

In 1971, Carmen returns home to convince Manon, her sister, to end ten years of mourning the death of their parents. Past and present intermingle as the two daughters struggle to reconcile their visions of the past, and the parents, Marie-Lou and Léopold, enact the events preceding their fatal car crash.

Presented by Tarragon Theatre in association with PlayME Podcast‘s Laura Mullin and Chris Tolley. For tickets and more information, click here.
