A Hidden Princess

September 12-14

‘A Hidden Princess ‘ is a Kathak Dance exploration of the enigmatic 17th-century Mughal princess Jahanara Begum. Combined with music, poetry and images that bring the era of the Taj Mahal back to life, Bageshree Vaze weaves a tapestry of dance language that is incredible.

Encounters at the "Edge of the Woods"

This project explores the restor(y)ation of treaty relationship using Indigenous practices of Storyweaving through deep connections to the land. Jill Carter, an Indigenous educator and artist will lead along with performers and creators from all over the city who will use their personal stories and experiences to compose Encounters at the “Edge of the Woods”.
