Celebrating a full season of captivating and unique productions, the Toronto Alliance for the Performing Arts presented the 43rd annual Dora Mavor Moore Awards this evening.

The awards acknowledge excellence in Toronto theatre and performing arts. Along with its 46 categories across seven divisions, this year includes the first recipients of two new awards. The Christine Karcza Disability Leadership Award honours leadership and advancement for disability representation and advocacy in the arts, while the Ray Ferris Innovation and Sustainability Grant recognizes a Toronto company’s artistic project that promotes and advances sustainability in theatre.
